Top 5 Valentine’s Day Jewelry Gifts

February 3rd, 2010

Hearts are of course the traditional symbol of love, when it comes to jewelry the most common is the silver heart! But this Valentine’s Day there are many, many choices!

1. My favorite Idea is gemstone jewelry! It’s personalized to your sweetheart’s birthday and you can find a large selection of different gemstone jewelry! Rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets… etc, etc. For Valentine’s Day I recommend small to medium gems on silver jewelry. I find that the gem colors look better with silver than with gold. However you should look at her jewelry collection. If she only has hold jewelry than I would say it’s safer to go with a gold jewelry! If it’s 50/50 silver and gold, then go with silver!!

2. For the young lovers or new relationship. If you want to get her jewelry but you’ve only been dating a few months than I would check out charm bracelets. A charm bracelet lets her know that you know and love things about her. Does she have a favorite sport, hobby, nickname, animal etc, etc. Add those charms to a beautiful link bracelet personalized just for her! Remember to add at least 1 heart, it is Valentine’s Day!!

3. Go handmade! You can find thousands of artists on Etsy.com, a website that lets self-employed craft artists sell their art! They have a HUGE selection of Valentine’s Day themed jewelry, engravings of I love you everywhere! A big plus about going this route is that you can find one of a kind items that no one else will ever have! This makes a present EXTRA special!

4. The classic heart shaped jewelry, you can go for the silver heart, maybe with diamonds or gemstones. Don’t go too gaudy, because it becomes more about the jewelry than the love that the jewelry represents! I personally like the heart shaped gemstone necklaces they are sweet and very pretty! They come is all shapes and sizes, even colors! You can get really beautiful ones from Swarovsky!

5. Personalized jewelry. You can write her name on a necklace, engrave a heart, buy letter beads and make a bracelet. Whatever you do personalized jewelry is always a hit, this jewelry is classy and timeless. Stay small and in cursive letters for the most part! If you decide to engrave something, make it short and sweet! I’ll love you 4 ever! Be my Valentine! Etc.

I hope this helps you find what you’re looking for, if you want more information about everything I’ve written, links to discounts and deals for the best Valentine’s Day gifts, and a bunch more unique and romantic ideas than check out my blog, it’s all about Valentine’s Day!
